Christmas Dinner 2025

The Petaling Jaya, class of CBSI Malaysia based at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, held a dinner on the 9th December to close the year as well as to celebrate the birth our our Lord Jesus Christ. It was a wonderful night of laughter, fellowship, food and sharing of God’s blessings in our members’ lives. Above all to hear that the Word of God that was studied in our classes had greatly transformed their lives. It was exciting and a joy. We give thanks to God for his wonderful work of transformation and changed lives.

The organizing committee did a wonderful job and congratulate them for a job well done. A great high light of the evening was the video introducing members and new-comers to the Letter of Paul to the Ephesians.

We will begin classes on Tuesday 13 January 2026 @ 8.00pm. We invite you to begin the year with a commitment to study the Word of God, through inductive Bible Study. Please contact any one of the following for details.

Christmas Visit

December 15, 2023

Leaders of the PJ class paid a Christmas visit to our dear sister Esther Richards. Esther has been the coordinator and one of class teachers for the PJ class for a long time. She has been unwell this year and had to be in hospital. We praise God for her wonderful recovery.

We had a delightful lunch with her in her home on Friday 15 December. Even at lunch, she talked about ways of encouraging people to study the word of God. This is her passion, seeing people studying and growing in the word. We praise God for her vision and spirit that has been an example for many of us. The Ven. Viji Daniel, Vicar of St. Paul’s PJ, prayed for her. We will continue to pray for her complete recovery as we have a God who heals. Amen

A time to share God’s Goodness

Christmas is here again. Everyone is excited about this wonderful season of the year. But the truth is that not everyone understands this life changing gift that was given at Christmas. It is the gift of salvation.

The Bible tells us in the gospel of Luke chapter 2. 8-20, that when the shepherds had heard the news of the birth of Jesus, they went in search of the baby. Many times, in our generation, if we lose something, yes, we do look for it. But if we cannot find it, we will let it be. The many parables that Jesus told about the lost was that it was eventually found. This Christmas gift of salvation calls us to live a fruitful, meaningful and blessed Christian life. This is our spiritual challenge. May we become like the shepherds telling everyone that Jesus Christ is born.

Classes close for the year 2023

We give thanks to God despite a difficult year, classes have come to a close by early December. The PJ Class ended the year with the 6 week study on 1 John. It was a good study as we prepare for Advent and Christmas. God Bless you

Classes Resumed for 2023

CBSI Malaysia is happy to announce that classes for the 2023 have resumed. Most of the classes are still online.

PJ Class hosted by St. Paul’s Church, meets on Tuesdays @ 8.00pm. They are studying the Letter to the Hebrews.

Condolences

October 20, 2021

CBSI Malaysia extends our deepest condolences to Rev Robin Sabai on the passing away of his dear wife. Rev Robin is from Kuching, Sarawak and is a member of the Bukit Jalil and Damasara Class. His class members are praying that God will give him and his family the comfort and strength in their time of need. May the Lord’s presence be close to them.
