PJ Class resumes

Please be inform that the PJ Class will begin a new semester on Tuesday 6 October 2009. They will be studying “Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians” It is a challenging study and we are expecting a good turn out for the class. CBSI brings excitement to town!

After class excitement

The new class that was started in the town of Klang which is about 30km from the nation’s capital brought some excitement among the believers in the town. 75 people had turned up for their first study on James at St. Barnabas, Church, Klang. We thank the church leadership for opening their doors and for being a partner in getting people into a good Bible Study class.

Classs Coordinator’s Husband joins CBSI

Bro. Rata is the husband of Mary who is the JB Class coordinator. He came to the class because he had to drive and wait for his wife. After the first week he decided that rather than sitting waiting in the car, it would make no difference if he sat in the class. He decided to join one of the groups and has stayed in that group till the class closed last week,after finishing the Book of James. Rata says, ” He has learnt much about character building though the course and will return to the CBSI studies when the next round begins.” Praise the Lord. People are indeed getting into God’s word.

Saturday 5 September at 9.00am the proposed training in Klang, a 25 minute drive from the Capital Kuala Lumpur was conducted. 18 potential small group leaders turned up for the training . It was very encouraging to see the Vicar of the host church also signing up for the training.

The class in Klang will held on Wednesdays starting from Wednesday 9 September at 8.00pm. They will be studying the Book of James. Mrs Mary Das has been appointed the Coordinator. Please pray for her as she gets all the logistics worked out. Thank you for your prayers.

Another Small Group Training

On Saturday 5 September, Fred will be doing another small group training in the town of Klang, which is west of Kuala Lumpur the capital. With this there will now be 2 classes meeting in this “big” town. One will be at Bethany Gospel Hall and the other at St. Barnabas Church. Praise God that church leaders are seeing the need for good Bible Study classes and are willing to open their churches for this to happen.

Please pray for the training this Saturday. We will be training over 20 leaders. Pray that those who come to this training will catch the vision “Everyone in the World in the Word”

With this, the potential of seeing more people confident in God’s word is becoming a reality. Pray that they will go out and touch many others with the Word of God.

Johor Baru Class

It is a great joy to see the Johor Baru Class members faithfully coming to their class each week. There are 3 English groups and a Chinese Group. Next Tuesday 8 September will be their final session for James after which they will take a break and come back to do another short study.

Next week will be exciting as the Class Coordinator has asked all those who have been blessed by the study to be prepared to share their testimonies.

Be on the LOOK OUT for these testimonies. They will speak a great deal of the power of God’s word.
