Condolences

Please uphold Dr. Low and Mrs. Pauline Low of our JB class. Pauline’s mother went to be with the Lord last week. Please pray for them as they go through this time of mourning. The Lows are coordinators of the JB class and take great care and pride in running the class.

Dr. Low and Pauline we are praying for you at this time of loss. God is with you.

Pray for the Philippines

1391605_10152030074019558_570559647_nWe are sadden at this time to see and hear of the devastation created by super typhoon Haiyan. We pray for the people in Central Philippines of all religions that they will experience the peace of God.It is very difficult to see people in desperation looking for family and loved ones. For children who are lost. Pray for all the aid agencies that are doing all they can in extreme conditions. Pray that aid and relief will reach those in need.

There are also CBSI Bible study classes in this region. Please pray for the Class leader and his members. Pray that God will keep them and their families save.

This is the time for us to help our neighbour. Please give generously to the Philippine relief either through your local church or the Diocese of West Malaysia.

Thank You all

mail-1With the closing of the PJ Class for the year, all our classes in the country closed for the year end. I take this opportunity to thank all small group leaders, Teaching leaders and class coordinators for all the hard work done. The greatest joy for me as National Director is to see the depth of the class discussions and the lectures given. I praise God for this. Truly God has used CBSI in a small way to come along side churches and help build their members more deeply in God’s word. To all the churches that have opened their doors for the classes to be held, I also want to say how much we at CBSI Malaysia appreciate this gesture and your confidence in our Ministry. Thank You all.

100% attendance

Joanah, was the other person who attained a 100% attendance. She loves the word of the Lord deeply that peeping into her study notes will give you an insight of how serious she is with her study of the Word. Well done and be seeing you again in 2014.

Commited Couple

Raymond & Julie

Raymond & Julie

Raymond and Julie were congratulated for their 100% attendance in class for the study of Book of Revelation. Despite the traffic jams in the city and flash floods, these have not kept this lovely couple from the class. Sister Esther Richards, class coordinator and teaching leader presented them with a little gift as a token of their commitment and support to the PJ Class. We look forward to having them attending the class in 2014.

Completion of Revelation!

IMGP2881The PJ Class on 6 November came together to celebrate the completion of their 30 lessons study of the Book of Revelation. The Class Coordinator stated that class attendance was over 80% through out the year. She acknowledged that 1 couple and 2 others as having attained 100% attendance. We praise God for their commitment. It was also a time of celebration with a fellowship meal and a time of sharing God’s goodness through out the year.

Found what she wanted!

IMGP2885Mika Ikegami, searched for a Bible study group and Christian fellowship for a long time. An ex-CBSI member introduced her to CBSI and the PJ Class. She was able to complete the study on Revelation and has even now become an active member of the local church.

We praise God that CBSI has been a blessing to the local church. A local pastor said, ” I encouraged members to be part of CBSI because they in turn serve the local church.” Amen and praise God.

Still memorizing scripture verses!

IMGP2872Sister Winnie Wang, holds the achievement of memorizing all the memory verses that is given at her CBSI Class in PJ. We praise God for her love for His Word. At her age, when people say that it is difficult to memorize, Winnie has proven that it can be done. Let’s cheer her on. Well done Winnie!
