Best Wishes for the New Year

We are now in the 2nd week of the 2013. I take this opportunity to wish all CBSI class members in Malaysia a Blessed New Year. I pray that you have had a great Christmas and New Year. We welcome back all who have been away for the holidays and trust that your time with families and friends have been a blessing.

As we enter 2013, the Lord has assured me that this will be a year of increase, a year of obedience and a year of Blessings. Thus there will be a lot of waiting upon the Lord this year. We need to hear clearly His word and command for us, so that we can walk into the blessings he has in store for us.

His word for us this year is from Deuteronomy 30.11 says “nothing is too difficult or beyond your reach”

How comforting as we begin this New Year. May I ask you to covenant to pray for CBSI Malaysia that we will grow and be a blessing to the nation. Pray that when we encounter trials and hardships, these words “nothing is too difficult or beyond your reach” will be our portion from the Lord

Places Fast filling up!

We are fast filling up the number of places for the Conference. Please note that the closing date is Monday 24 September. We have members as far north as Ipoh and South from Johor Bharu attending the conference.

For those who would like to play golf, please bring your clubs. There will be an opportunity to T-off with the Board of Directors.

Good News!!!!!!

Many of you have inquired whether CBSI had Bible studies in Tamil and Chinese. This is to let you know that we now do have some of the material in these languages and if you are interested please get in touch with the National Director, Rev Fred David for a chat.

There are some requirements but above all we are here to serve you.

Small Group Leaders Training

A small group leaders Training will be held at Life Sanctuary, Damansara Intan on Wednesday 11 July 2012 at 8.00pm. Please bring you Bible with you. All other materials will be provided.

The training in an ongoing training to raise more Bible study leader who will be able to handle the word of God with confident and make people feel comfortable. It will be conducted by Rev Fred David, the National Director ans Ps.Peter Hanscamp the Asia Pacific Director.

Small Group Leaders Training

There will be a small group leaders training on Wednesday 8.00pm at Life Sanctuary, Damansara Intan (opposite Tropicana Mall) This is open to all small group leaders and potential leaders in the Klang Valley. Come and equip yourself for a meaningful ministry.

We are all learners!

It will be good from time to time to remind your class that we are all learners. This will help the quiet and new member not to be intimidated. We are here to encourage them to engage with God’s word and the class discussion. Our ultimate aim is to make them confident in handling God’s word. They could be your future class leaders. See that they are comfortable. Find them a seat besides a member who is gentle and patience. In this way you will be caring for them. Remember , many who come to your class need and long for love. Shepherd them well.

Exegesis for Small Group Leaders

Please pray with us as we try to hold this training for all Bible Study Leaders (SGLs). We see that this will greatly help our small group leaders to understand the text and be able to lead exciting discussions. This is also a way of growing our leaders to be mature and confident in handling God’s Word. Pray that we would be able to source the right person to lead in this seminar.
