One of the things that dawned upon me was that this will be the first time in our generation that we are encountering a “10” The last ten was in 1910. That was a century ago. May I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy 2010 and may the year be fruitful and that every blessing flow for you.

Please look out for the classes that will commence in your area. The following classes are confirmed to commence:

January 21: Ampang Class @ Melawati Gospel Centre. They will continue with The Book of Revelation.

Please pray for the small group leaders training and the teaching leaders training sessions. Have a great year of studying the Word of God.

Classes Closed for the Year

All classes in the country have stopped for the Christmas Holidays. We praise God that it has been a fruitful year. 3 Classes have confirmed their commencing dates for 2010. We will be doing a centralized training early in January for all Small Group Leaders and potential Teaching Leader. Pastor Fred will contact you with regards to the training.

One of the new developments will be the the possibility of beginning a class in Bahasa Malaysia for BM speaking Christians. Please pray as we discuss this with the various people who minister in BM.

80year old attends CBSI Class

Mrs Chelliah

Mrs. Chelliah

Mrs. Chelliah is 80 years old with a husband that is home bound. Despite the responsibilities at home and as a devoted wife, she says that attending her CBSI Class on Wednesdays night at St. Barnabas Church, Klang, brought her joy and strength. Her husband noticed the change in her and surprisingly cooperated to allow her to attend the Class.

Asked what she had learnt from her study of James, she says, “I love to gossip and watch televison. But James has taught me to control my tongue and use it and my time for God’s Glory”

Let’s say “Amen” to that. CBSI Classes are live changing even for 80year olds. If you have not been to a good Bible Study it is not too late to attend one. Please check our site to see where the classes are for the coming year 2010.
