It was a wonderful evening when the Damansara Class got together to give thanks to God for the year of studies. They were very regular and despite the many challenges of city life, most made it to their class. They finished Paul’s Letter to the Galatians and are looking forward to studying Ephesians and Colossians in the coming year.

The Damansara Class decided to have a simple meal to celebrate the completion of the Book of Revelation in November 2017. The feed back was that there was so much to lead and understand. The class enjoyed the study especially helping them see that the church must prepare herself for the future. Their shout was “Let’s Be Over-comers” AMEN
The Damansara Class will start their new semester with the study on the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation has always excited people with its visions and mysteries. If you have ever wondered what all these signs and visions were, here is an opportunity to come and study together with other Christian brothers and sisters God’s plan for the future of the Church.

It is wonderful to see that the Damansara Class is steadily growing. Our latest addition is sister Voony. She had inquired where her friend Aiwern goes each Wednesday night. After finding out that Aiwern attends a CBSI Bible study class, she decided to come along. She has been enjoying the study on Paul’s 2nd Letter to the Corinthians. But above all the fellowship,care and love that she experiences. Praise the Lord!
We are thrilled to have Christopher and Grace join the Damansara Class. Christopher comes from Indonesia and after finishing his study course is working in Kuala Lumpur. Grace on the other is from China and is studying English. She is a Christian from mainland China and is a blessing to many of her fellow students.
They decided to join the CBSI class here and are keen to go deep into God’s word.
The Damansara Class began their semester on 27 February. There were new members to the Class which meets on Wednesdays at Life Sanctuary. It was indeed exciting to see these new members and the class is praying that more would come to be part of what God’s is doing in this part of the city of KL.
They are studying the Book of Daniel and are encouraging their young people to come and study this book which will give them insights to how to live their lives in a secular society.

Today’s class in Damansara was well attended despite the evening showers that threatened earlier. They class studied Ephesian 3:1-4:16. The lecture was given by Rev Fred David speaking on ” God’s Ideal for a Church” He dealt on the following sub themes:
1. Paul’s Stewardship for the Gospel: where the grace of God was so instrumental in Paul’s calling and ministry
2. Paul’s Strengthening of the Church: Inspired by the love that dwells in our hearts to be the foundation of our Christian lives that focuses on the love of Christ.
3. Paul’s Secret of the Body life: That is seen in the calling of all believers to exercise their gifts for the building up of the Body.
The ultimate aim of Christians is to maintain the unity of the Faith, to grow in the knowledge of the Son of God and to be matured in Christ.
