Thank You Lord!

102015thanks

We praise God that all classes have finished their studies for the year. It has been an interesting and exciting year for many. The testimonies we hear are about how God has spoken to so many of the members through His Word. This has encouraged many to even sign up for 2019.

AS Blessed Advent Season to all as we prepare for the Birth of Jesus. may each advent candle remind us of the coming of the Son of God. Christmas has become so commercialized that we need to put Christ back into Christmas. I pray that as you spend time with family and friends in this wonderful season, you will remember those in need and lonely.

See you next year.!

Tribute to Peter Hanscampe

FB_IMG_1507549677881The late Peter Hanscampe was the first to be appointed as the Asia Pacific Regional Director in early 2000. He was teaching and pastoring in Singapore when he came into contact with CBSI through the Woodlands CBSI class.

Peter was really a pastor at heart and his care and love for the team in Asia Pacific was greatly appreciated and cherished. Peter had made many visits to Malaysia and would always stay with the Davids while they were in Sabah and then later in Kuala Lumpur. Peter encouraged CBSI Malaysia to be formally registered and to see that it would operate on its own.  He was really pleased that he was able to see the CBSI Board instituted and commissioned the Board of Directors under the Chairmanship of Datuk Rev Dr. Yeoh Beng San and the commissioning of the National Director.

Peter ably led the Asia Pacific team for many years and through many conferences building a strong bond amongst the team.

It was sad to hear of Peter’s passing away early this year. CBSI Malaysia thanks God for the life and ministry of Peter and Mathilda Hanscampe.

May they rest in peace. We will meet again!

Classs Coordinator’s Husband joins CBSI

Bro. Rata is the husband of Mary who is the JB Class coordinator. He came to the class because he had to drive and wait for his wife. After the first week he decided that rather than sitting waiting in the car, it would make no difference if he sat in the class. He decided to join one of the groups and has stayed in that group till the class closed last week, after finishing the Book of James. Rata says, ” He has learnt much about character building though the course and will return to the CBSI studies when the next round begins.” Praise the Lord. People are indeed getting into God’s word.
