We are in the midst of planning for a small group leader’s training and a possible Teaching Leader’s training. This will be over 2 nights. The details will be announced in due course. Please keep this in prayer for a great harvest up in the North. Please pray that God will lead Fred to the right people with a heart for God’s word to be trained and released in ministry.

The Dr.Dato Yeoh Beng Sang was appointed the Chairman of the Board and the Rev Fred David was duly confirmed as the National Director for Malaysia. The other members of the Board are: Dato George Ting, Mr. John Liew (Sabah) Mr Peter Ling, Elder Ng See Yen, Mr. Lew Weng Ho and Mrs. Usha Jacob.

Prayer Partners…Please Pray

Please begin to pray that another new class will open in Butterworth in the northern state of Penang in 2010. The pastor of a church has expressed his desire for a good Bible study in the town. Pray that God will prepare those who will be trained as small group leaders and also for at least 2 teaching leaders. PRAISE THE LORD.

DOUBLE BONUS!!!!!!

Joan who is the wife of the Vicar of St. Barnabas, Church, Klang where a CBSI Class is running said that God had given her a double bonus in that she was able to fully participate in her small group and to be ministered by God though the lecture. She was praying that her 2 little children would not be too burdensome while the class was on. To her surprise she found that her children with another child had “transformed” into angels and occupied themselves with their own “studies” . God will open the door for those who desire His Word. Amen

80year old attends CBSI Class

Mrs Chelliah

Mrs. Chelliah

Mrs. Chelliah is 80 years old with a husband that is home bound. Despite the responsibilities at home and as a devoted wife, she says that attending her CBSI Class on Wednesdays night at St. Barnabas Church, Klang, brought her joy and strength. Her husband noticed the change in her and surprisingly cooperated to allow her to attend the Class.

Asked what she had learnt from her study of James, she says, “I love to gossip and watch televison. But James has taught me to control my tongue and use it and my time for God’s Glory”

Let’s say “Amen” to that. CBSI Classes are live changing even for 80year olds. If you have not been to a good Bible Study it is not too late to attend one. Please check our site to see where the classes are for the coming year 2010.

New Class begins in the South

On Monday 29 June, the  National Director gave an introductory session to about 30 people  in the City of Johor Bahru. It was a very encouraging evening and all went home seeing the need for an in-depth Bible Study in their city.

A small working committee was formed and they have decided to begin the class on 28 July 2009. This will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd.  If you know of any one who would benefit from these studies, please contact the following persons for more details:
