Visit of Ms. Kim Carr

CBSI Malaysia looks forward to welcoming Ms. Kim Carr, the newly appointed CEO of CBS International. She and 3 others from the Head Office will be visiting Malaysia as part of their visit to Asia. CBSI Malaysia is organizing a special evening for members to visit with Ms. Kim Carr. We are grateful to the Vicar of St. Paul’s PJ and the PJ class for hosting the event. The eveing will begin with a fellowship meal and then to hear Ms. Carr speak on “Studying and applying God’s word amidst of a rising Religious Pluralism”.

He has received a number of awards from the industry and this goes to show of the character and person he is. A true disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Damansara Class will start their new semester  with the study on the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation has always excited people with its visions and mysteries. If you have ever wondered what all these signs and visions were, here is an opportunity to come and study together with other Christian brothers and sisters God’s plan for the future of the Church.

philAfter a 3 week holiday the PJ Class begins their new semester with the study of Paul’s Letter to the Philippians. Tonight our National Director, Rev Fred David will do a overview of the Epistle and the summary lecture for Philippians 1.1-11. It’s going to be an exciting and heart provoking study and I pray that we will all leave with a sense of the urgency of preaching the Gospel to all people.

Class starts at 8.00pm on Tuesday 18 July 2016.

Leaders will meet at 7.00pm also on Tuesday 19 July 2016

 

 

Indians in Diaspora

GOPIO-Book_smallCBSI Malaysia, together with the Tamil Board of the Diocese of West Malaysia will be hosting a special lecture on “Indians in Diaspora” We are very privileged to have with us, the Rev Dr. J N Manokaran, Regional Director for CBSI South Asia. Dr. Mano has been a missionary in North Indian, a writer and an international Conference speaker. He comes with a passion for the Indians in the Diaspora and is keen to engage with those who would like to see documented the contributions of the Indians in the nation building of Malaysia.

He will deliver a special lecture on the subject matter:

Study Ephesians in Miri

images-1We are please to announce that the new CBSI Class in Miri is studying Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians. It is a 6 week study helping us to prepare ourselves for the times of persecution. How timely this is!.

imagesAfter finishing Paul’s Letter to the Galatians, the PJ class has started their study in Ephesians. They are doing the 12 week study. It has been exciting. The teaching leaders are Rev Fred David, Ms. Esther Richards and Mrs. Glo Rajendram.  The class meets every Tuesday at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Jln Utara. Time is 8.00pm.
